Work-Study Student Employment
Federal Work-Study provides flexible part-time positions to allow students with financial need to earn money to help pay for their educational expenses.
There are several positions available on campus. Position supervisors will schedule student work hours around your class schedule. Federal work-study student employees may work up to 20 hours per week. The work-study coordinator will determine the actual number of hours you work per week. Federal work-study student employees generally do not work when classes are not in session and may never work during their scheduled class time. Students must meet eligibility requirements, including maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress. Student employees must be enrolled in at least six hours of classes and will need to complete the financial aid process.

Duties include:
- Organizing tools
- Repairing tools
- Inspecting equipment
- Assisting with lab projects
Qualified applicants should be:
- A student in the automotive technology program
- In good standing with grades and attendance
This position is up to 10 hours per week.
Duties include:
- Monitoring exams and proctor services in the Regional Testing Center
- Security of exams in the Regional Testing Center
Requires student to be in good academic standing with at least a 2.0 SAP GPA. Students in their first semester have alternate requirements.
Qualifying individuals possess basic computer skills and can adapt to technology. Basic troubleshooting skills are a plus.
Student must be 18 years or older; must not have sat or expected to sit for the Pearson Vue exams, Prometric exams, or ETS exams within 365 days of employment.
This position is up to 12 hours per week with a preference for availability 8:30am to 10:00 am and 12:00pm to 1:30 pm several days per week. However, hours can be flexible.

Duties include:
- Monitoring standard course exams and 3rd party proctor services in the Teaching and Learning Center
- Security of standard course exams
- Assisting with printer issues, workstation login questions, assisting students with database needs
- Directing students appropriately for tutoring/testing needs

This position is up to 13 hours per week with a preference for availability 8:00 am to 10:00 am, 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm several days per week. However, hours can be flexible.
