Voter Registration Information
Federal law mandates that all colleges and universities make voter registration forms available to all students attending their institutions who are eligible to vote. The ability to vote in national, state and local elections is both a privilege and a responsibility. As Election Day, November 8, 2022, approaches, you are encouraged to register if you haven't already. You can register to vote online until 11:59 p.m. on October 18 or submit a registration form by mail as long as it is postmarked by October 18.
To register to vote in Kansas, you must:
- be a U.S. citizen and a resident of the state of Kansas.
- have reached the age of 18 years before the next election.
- have received a final discharge from imprisonment, parole, or conditional release if convicted of a felony.
- have abandoned your former residence and/or name.
How to register to vote in Kansas
To register to vote online, you must do the following:
- Go to the online Voter Registration Application
- Verify your voting eligibility.
- Verify that you have a valid driver's license or non-driver's identification card.
- Enter your personal information.
- Review and submit your information.
