Online Course Participation and Grades
As of March 30th, Manhattan Area Technical College transitioned face-to-face instruction to online until further notice. During this juncture it is critical as a student you are logging-in regularly to complete course work and submit assignments. Manhattan Tech will continue to issue grades based on the students’ course involvement, completion of assignments, homework, etc. Maintaining good grades remains as important online as it did in face-to-face courses to earn credits and complete degrees.
Instructors will be completing a roster verification for their course in the coming weeks. Therefore, it is imperative that you have logged into your course or maintained contact with your instructor by Monday, April 13th. Failure to remain in contact or complete assignments may lead to your withdrawal from the course and may impact your financial aid and/or satisfactory academic progress.
We realize the unforeseen challenges of transitioning to online coursework and the general stress and anxiety caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Know that you all have made this transition with remarkable resolve. As always please know that our top priority is your safety as well as the safety of the entire Manhattan Tech community. If you have any questions, please reach out.
