Heather Peterson

Heather is originally from Omaha, NE and came to Manhattan to attend Kansas State University where she obtained a Masters of Architecture degree. She has been practicing architecture in north east Kansas for over a decade and became a partner at Anderson Knight Architects in April 2023. Heather’s passion for MATC stems from the connection that the architecture profession has on the local contractors. The proper execution of the buildings architects design is contingent upon the existence of a robust support system for contractors. Heather lives in Pottawatomie County with her husband, son, daughter, cat, and dog. She enjoys crafting, swimming, baking, and being outside with her family in her spare time. In addition to MATC she volunteers with several other local non-profit organizations.
