PERSONAL CARE SERVICE WORKER Health care professions majors encouraged to apply We are looking for a Personal Care Service Worker for our adult disabled son. Duties include: - Sitting with client in our home - Monitoring and addressing client’s personal and health needs Requirements include: - High level of comfort with non-verbal adult male - Ability to assist client with standing and transferring - Changing briefs if needed As you learn more you may be asked to: - Set up tube feedings - Pass medications Higher level skills you may eventually learn are: - Recognizing seizures and administering seizure rescue medications - Oral suctioning - Monitoring oxygen levels and administering oxygen Other - This is actually a pretty low-key job with great learning opportunities - Flexible evening and weekend hours up to 40 hours a week. - Lots of free time to study, scroll and watch movies. - $14.90 hour.
